| FDI – a bright perspective(27/12/2006) | | As reported by Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment, the newly licensed foreign direct investment (FDI) in October 2006 rises up by over 60% as compared to the same period last year – the peak in 2006. At the same time, additionally increased capital for production expansion in October also doubles in comparison with that in September. As a result, total newly registered capital, including capital for new projects and additionally increased capital, in October was 6.485 billion USD, up by 41.4% as compared to the same period.
